Scuba Diving in La Graciosa for Certified Divers
In La Graciosa, over 15 dive sites, six distinct marine ecosystems, and daily boat departures await you right from the port of Caleta de Sebo. This guide gathers everything a certified diver needs to know: available spots, how boat departures work, pricing, and required documentation.
In just a few dives, you move from caves and underwater sunbeams to huge fish shoals, gorgonians, and even a dive inside a volcano's submerged crater. Two boat trips a day, directly from the harbor with zero land transfers, so you make the absolute most of your day.

Three Unforgettable Dives
- Veril de las Anclas: a historic dive. In addition to rich marine biodiversity, it features anchors dating back to the 15th century and ancient amphorae.
- Roncadores: famous for its massive resident school of grunts.
- M. Amarilla: diving directly inside a submerged volcanic crater—a truly extraordinary experience.
Advanced Dives: Las Gerardias
Las Gerardias is our expert-level dive, between 30 and 40 meters deep. It features an exceptional deep-sea garden of ancient black coral bushes and pelagic species—a dive of immense ecological value and an underwater benchmark across Spain.
To dive Las Gerardias, Bajón de Alegranza, or Cueva del Legionario, divers must hold at least an Advanced Open Water certification.
How We Choose the Dive Site Every Day
The dive location is chosen on the morning of departure based on ocean and weather forecasts, as well as the group’s collective experience and comfort level. Our priority is finding the best possible conditions so every dive is safe, rewarding, and enjoyable.
If you are booking multiple dive days with us, we log your previous dive sites to ensure maximum variety and avoid repetitions.
Departures, Timetables, and Arrival
We organize two boat departures daily, at 9:00 AM and 12:15 PM. The timing of the second trip may adjust slightly depending on the progression of the morning dive.
| Departure | Boat Departs | Meeting at the Dive Center |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | 9:00 AM | 8:45 AM |
| 2nd | 12:15 PM | 12:00 PM |
Our dive center is located right at the port of Caleta de Sebo in La Graciosa: you will spot us the moment you disembark from the regular passenger ferry. If traveling from Lanzarote on the 8:30 AM ferry, you will arrive with plenty of time, as we wait for all registered divers arriving on that ferry.
